75 Years of Cub Scout History
Pack 713, chartered by the Rotary Club, has a rich, proud history.
From the founding of the Pinewood Derby,
to the historic Scout House downtown;
boys ( and now girls) have been enjoying Cub Scouts in Manhattan Beach since 1941.

Pack 713 is made up of boys and girls from Pacific, Grandview, Robinson and American Martyrs schools. A solid group of dedicated and hard-working parents and volunteers make this a vibrant and exciting pack.

The Pack is made up of Dens (smaller groups of grade level Scouts).

Pack 713 holds a monthly Pack Meeting in which all boys and girls from all Dens participate in award ceremonies, fun games and age appropriate activities. The Pack also participates in additional camping & hiking opportunities.

Dens meet 1-2 times a month depending on the Den's schedule. Parents help the Den Leaders run and plan the meetings. Scouts typically work on their advancement requirements during Den Meetings. By participating in the Den Meetings, the Scouts earn Adventure Loops or Pins that help them earn their Cub Scout rank.

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America...

to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Promise, Law, and Motto.
